Sunday 26th June, 2011 Free Motion & Blind Hem Beginners Machine Applique Class Deb will be exploring free motion applique using the free motion foot, showing you how easy and relaxed this technique can be. Suitable for funky or traditional styles. Blind Hem applique looks like hand, needle turn applique, but with the use of the machine. In this class you will applique circles, drunkards path blocks, traditional flowers and bias stems. Deb will also show you the steps to designing this quilt and how to quilt it. Longbourne Katrina has been working through a series of four, Engish style medallion quilts featuring hand piecing, applique and reproduction fabrics. Longbourne is the 3rd in the series and is currently under construction, but if you love traditional style quilts, this is the class for you. Spread over 4 Saturdays, with time in between for homework. Photo will be added as soon as Katrina finishes! But if you wait, there may be no seats available! at Please note, class numbers are limited to 10 students only. A 50% deposit must be paid at the time of booking a class. If you cancel at least four weeks prior to class the fee can be refunded, or moved to another class. If you cancel with less than four weeks notice, the fee will be forfeited, as we will have confirmed with the teacher and other students by this stage. It will be too late to cancel the teacher and disrupt the balance of the students. |
